2015 BEACH AND SPRAYPARK
Get your last days of Deer Lake Beach and Spraypark in.  These facilities close Monday, September 7, 2015, Labor Day.  Details can be found in the Aquatics Guide, downloadable by clicking Forms and Flyers.  Bay Court Beach will remain open after Labor Day, pending weather.

SENIOR CENTER MEMBERSHIPS
Did you know that if you are 50 or over that you can sign up for some programs and services at a discounted rate?  Call (248) 625-8231 and register to become a Senior Center Member.  The building expansion project is going on right now.  Stop by to see!

2016 SHARE GARDEN PLOTS
Register for a 10x10 plot at the Clarkston Community Garden for 2016-limited plots available (only 2015 unsold plots available at this point in time.  You can register now and get a jump start on your 2016 plot.)  Plots are $35 per plot with a discount for residents.  Download a Share Garden Agreement by clicking on forms/flyers.  2015 Share plot holders will be able to re-register in September thru the end of the year.  All 2015 plots that are unsold by December 31, 2015 will go on sale in 2016.


2015 COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Clarkston Community Schools and Independence Township have entered into a partnership for our Department to provide customer registration services for Community Education programs.  Register with our Department for all Community Education offerings.  For registration options, click on "Home" and go to registration information.  To see Clarkston Community Education current programs and services, visit www.clarkston.k12.mi.us/cec.  Their registration forms are also available online at that same web address.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR MOST PROGRAMS
Yes, you can register online for most programs.  If you have a user account with Parks, Recreation & Seniors, click on "Sign in" in the upper right hand corner.  If you need to request an online account, click on "Forms and Flyers" on the upper left hand corner and download the Online Account Request form OR simply email Kim Larson and she will email it to you.

2015 FIRST AID/CPR CLASSES
We offer traditional AHA First aid/CPR classes and a "family & friends" version primarily for those persons who want to learn CPR that is not needed for employment.  We also offer a CPR for Healthcare Providers (BLS), designed specifically for medical and health professionals including nurses, nursing students, physicians, EMS personnel, dental and other healthcare professionals.  Look in the current Recreation Guide for class details or call us!
